Today at Techie youth, I learned to perfect the art of Interviewing, and seperating myself from the other interviewees just enough to get the job. Interviewing is just like a negotiation, you are offering your skillset and craft, to the job that the hirer is providing and depending on the job you may have to shape your skills. Interviewing is all about being confident, knowing yourself and building a comfortable environment in the space that will give off a positive energy about yourself but at the same time still be authentic. You may practice basic guideline questions before your interview to keep your sharp during it, for example what are your skills? What are you weak at? Why are you looking for this job etc?
Today at Techie youth, I wen through a lesson on remote employment opportunities in today's market due to the high use of online jobs and technology in general. The unit provided different and various websites that provides different remote job opportunities. Remote working will be the future of work and learning in the world because technology continues to advance and citizens are becoming more comfortable creating their own online businesses and becoming young entrepreneurs.
Today at Techie Youth I was introduced to an online networking app called linked in where you would create a profile specific to the jobs you may be looking for or even a general working account for something like entrepreneurship where you have a broad topic of things you may be interest in. Linked in is a page that has people from all different types of professions and work spaces and you have the opportunity to speak with anyone questioning them about that work field. the more networking you do on this website, the more people you will meet and this will potentially affect the job opportunities that you will encounter.
Today at Techie youth I finished up the lesson of theme pages ending with snapchat one of the more popular social media apps for its easy communication and interaction, along with its other filters and feature that makes your experience taking pictures and using the app better. Moving into the category of getting paid, the unit taught the difference between a checkings account and a savings account. A checkings account is an account where you can take check based payments and have the potential to right one off to another where as a saving account is for your savings of bills you may have to pay or just for a goal you are trying to obtain. The unit also teaches multiple different online banking choices, from Charles Schwab, Capital One, Discover, Varo, etc. It not only shows the particular online banking system but also how it is used and what it is best used for.
Today at Techie youth was a continuation of the learning experience of social media apps and website such as Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. The course shows you how you would use each app in the basic features, the how you would slightlight grow your profile and audience with the content you would produce to them. Then eventually you will have worked up a big enough profile to began earning on these apps.
Today at Techie Youth, I learned how to use other social media websites and apps such as Instagram and WeChat to either create theme pages or build your profile up enough to where you can become marketable or become a public figure. This will help you gain attention from the masses and company's will agree to allow you to use affiliate marketing to further expose their company while you earn money.
Today at Techie youth, I added to my knowledge of learning to become an entrepreneur, and also learning that entrepreneurship has no limits on it. Many people have made millions of dollars from became entrepreneurs and its is a very broad field in a sense so you can envision yourself in many different scenarios that will help you grow as a one and make money, but a lot of people start off with something they may enjoy or have an idea from that. In today's society, entrepreneurship is almost essential because it calls for being diverse, especially with social media allowing people to make money online having fun. Company's like YouTube and Tik tok are famous for their influence on today's culture and it allows a different lane of entrepreneurship will also allowing people to network. Not even to mention the other ways to earn remotely, this is just what seems to be popular in today's world.
Today at Techie Youth, I began to learn about digital goods. Digital goods refers to any goods that are being sold, and transferred in digital form. In a world like today's, pretty much everything has the potential to become a digital good being bought and sought after online. We looked at some examples of products that were created and sold in marketplaces among many other products and even how to create your own products and sell them.
Today at Techie youth I finished up the lesson on creating your of fashionable objects or non fashionable objects that can be sold out to the community for various reasons. I moved into the lesson of Stocks and the Stockmarket. Stocks are a representation of your ownership to a percentage of a company and through time that stock can grow or digress depending on how well the company does. The lesson explained different types of stocks, some of the better or worse stocks, and ways to improve your performance within the stock market.
Today at Techie youth, we moved into a new segment in the lane of creating products and putting out great ideas to make a living potentially. The lesson went into the detail of the marketplaces, both pros and cons. The talked about the more popular market places in our generation that has been successful and has a lot of customers so that you can sell your item. Places such as ebay, etsy, Tindie, are a few of the popular market places that people upload their items to. Further into the lesson they made it clear that it is possible to sell from your own website to bring in more revenue but they also express the pros and cons of this. Then they finally get into how to actually start and online sales website and run through sum examples and tutorials.
Today at Techie youth I finished the tutorials on learning how to create more simpler designs and logos through different programs such as Inkscape and GIMP, and later on in the day today it transitioned into a category where people were able to take the ideas from the tutorials and create their own inventions such as printers, trackers for moving persons or animals, Repulsor gloves and more.
Today was another continuation on learning how to create images and logs/designs using different methods and techniques taught through a series of YouTube tutorial videos.
Today's learning experience is a continuation of the deigns and logos creation tutorial. Something a little different today was learning how to create a 3D logo.

Today at techie Youth I began to learn how to create logos and other designs through the Inkscape tutorial on YouTube. From different symbols and icons such as, shapes, letters, water drop, bicycles and other objects.
When in an interview is important to always be attentive, and give direct answers nothing too much more than what the interviewer asks for. Come dressed appropriate and with questions of your own that will help the process of the interview move forward.
