Product Managers are directly responsible for synthesizing the voices and needs of senior stakeholders, the product team, and customers. For in person communication skills it mostly takes place in one of the following 3: meetings, presentations and conference calls. Some ways to better your communication skills in a meeting is by having an Agenda,Timeframe and Take notes. During a presentation ways to better with your body language, practicing and even telling a story. For better communication skills during a conference call remember the 2:1 ration ( two ears and one mouth), Voice control, and send material advance, conference calls can be prone to focus and context becoming lost as different voices compete to be heard and understood.
Today at Techie Youth I learned about Wireframe. A Wireframe is essentially the blueprints that communicate the structure of the site or software being built. Wireframes are commonly used to lay out content and functionality on a page which takes into account UI design and UX design. Theres a few steps you need to follow to create a wireframe. These steps are Decide whether you need a wireframe tool or not, Know what your focus is,Know what your focus is and lastly Sketch it and test it out. In your wireframe you should include Information displayed, How different modules, buttons, etc. are placed, Rules for showing different information, and How different scenarios affect the display. Wireframes organize the many details in a product and inspire the creative designer with the final design.Wireframes can be created by business analysts, information architects, interaction designers, UX designers, graphic designers, programmers, and product managers. But these roles are not the only ones who benefit from a wireframe. Rules such as business stakeholders, developers, Information architects and Business Analysts use it as well.

Today at Techie Youth I learned all about how to be a virtual assistant. Prior to today I didn't Know that there was such thing as a virtual assistant. A virtual Assistant is an independent contractor that provides administrative services to clients while not being physically in the clients office. I learned about the skills that you need and how to build these skills up. Today at Techie youth I learned how to conduct a video interview. Due to covid-19 a lot of Companies have taken their workforce online. Since everything got moved online a video interview is the best option. Some ways to prepare for an online interview is to outline a process, choose, install and test your equipment, notify candidates as soon as possible, set up a good interviewing space and set up a feedback process. When/ while conducting the interview make sure to be conscious of your body language, dress appropriately, highlight your company culture, review past interviews and take notes, be considerate and compassionate, ask consistent questions, consider pre-recorded interviews, have a backup plan, silence your phone and mute notifications and lastly log on early.As to where can you hold this meeting? there's many different softwares you can use such as Zoom, Google hangouts meet, Skype, Cisco Webex Meetings, Microsoft teams, Gotomeeting, Join.Me, Cisco Jabber, BlueJeans and UberConference.

Which in my opinion would be a faster way to get your page known by people because it would be in more noticeable places. There's many different kinds of exit strategies. Such as an IOP, a strategic acquisition, and management buyout. I also learned a way to help chose which exit strategy is best for you. To be able to choose you'll have to take into consideration things such as your future role in the business, Evaluate your liquidity needs, Think about your company's future potential, Consider the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley, Assess market conditions, and Consider a dual-track approach. Prior to today I didn't know an exit strategy was used to leave your company. I always thought that the CEO would just chose someone else to be in charge. I Didn't know you could sell the company to a whole different company.

Prior to today I didn't know anything about profit models. moving forward I know that a profit model is a company’s plan that aims to make the business profitable and viable. The different kinds of profit models are Production, Rental/leasing, Advertising, and Commission model. The components to a profit model are the key to making a business profitable. These Components are Production and operating, sales and marketing, and delivery of goods and services. Without a profit model business will be operating blindly and will be much less likely to become profitable.
Today at Techie Youth I learned how what kind of skills I need to become an entrepreneur. Prior to today I really had no interest in starting my own business. But after watching a few videos of the day in the life of an entrepreneur I'm starting to reconsider it. I learn that the top five skills and entrepreneur should have if they want to be successful are Communication, Sales, Focus, Ability to learn, and business Strategy. I also learned the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Being that there are risk to becoming and entrepreneur. Such as you can possibly lose all your money. But also you can make millions as long as you pick the right business and find the right target audience (customers).
Today at Techie Youth I learned how to deal with stress and also how to control my emotions a little better.This lesson was very useful to me because I tend to let the little things ruin my day.A Technique I learned today is whenever I get mad or irritated to go look in the mirror or my phone camera and smile as wide as I can for at least 10 seconds while looking at myself. This theory claims that my emotions will change and I will feel a lot better of course I will still be upset at the situation but just not as upset or mad as I was prior to looking into a mirror/phone camera. Another way Learned how to deal with stress is to not let other people control me. In the sense that if someone where to say some unkind words about be instead of reacting in a crazy way I should just pay no mind to them because in reality when a person makes those kind of mean remarks towards someone is because they are unhappy with their life and are projecting it on to you. And why would you listen to someone that's unhappy and wants you to be just as unhappy.
Today at techie Youth I learned about all the different programs I can use If I were to get into video editing. Some of the the suggested editing programs such as DaVinci Resolve,Final cut pro, Premier pro. Since these are programs you have to pay there were some free program suggestion as well if you don't want to pay and are just testing the waters. Today I watched multiple videos that taught me how to use each and every single one of these programs.It was very interesting how different this programs worked compared to the phone editing app I own called video star. Yes the programs that I learned about today are used in a professional level it was still very interesting how to programs can be used for the same thing (editing) yet their format is completely different.
Today at Techie Youth I learned a lot about video editing and editing in general. Prior to today I had some knowledge about editing because in high school I took a filming class and a photoshop class.Not only did I have the Knowledge from those classes I also had a fan account when I was younger where I used to make video edits of my favorite singers. But today I learned about editing on a professional level one can say. My favorite thing that I learned about to day was about the J and L cut. The reason being that I found it so cool seeing the finish product of these cuts. Also I feel like they are so subtle that you don't even notice its a cut. Next time I'm watching a movie or even a tv show I will be looking out for all the different cuts they make.
Today at Techie Youth I learned about all the different niche you can use if you want to have a theme page instagram. This ties up with the second half of the title "how to grow an instagram platform" because once you find your niche it makes it way easier to grow your page.The first step if you haven't is to turn your page into a business account that way you can have access to your insights so you can view engagement, impressions, etc... Also using hashtags related to the content that you are posting.But also be consistent with it. Another way is to collaborate with another influencer that way your content is exposed to their following.
Today I how to manage time and schedule my day so I can be more productive. Which is something that I have been trying to work for a very long time. I learned that I should
add a time to my task almost like a deadline that way I can be more motivated
to do but not to but the deadline too far cause it could lead to procrastination. I also learned there's different websites/apps that can help you organize a schedule for yourself. Prior to today I just assumed that people were using their calendar/reminder app on their phone or had a planner/white board where they would plan out their daily, weekly and monthly schedule.
Today I learned how to manage my money better. Ever since I started making my own money I have been having a bit of a spending problem and just terrible money management. But today I learned that I can make a personal budget with just 6 steps. I also learned about the different budgeting apps that I can use ti help me as well. Not only that I also learned that their is a US tax calculator that lets you know your yearly & monthly take home salary which is really helpful because you won't have to take out the tax amount when you go to make your budget. Lastly I touched up on the difference between a necessity and and how the American public percentage as either increased or decreased on whether they think an item is a necessity.
Today I learned some very helpful tips and tricks on how to avoid Scammers. Out of all the lessons that I have learned at Techie Youth so far this is the one I got experience at first hand. In the sense that someone was trying to scam me by offering me an assistant job without me even applying and no resume needed. The way I realized that it was a scam was when the check that they had sent wasn't going through in my bank account and they I tried to send them money the bank kept declining the transaction. But now I know how to spot if someone is trying to scam me and know what kind of questions to ask to make sure.Not only can I ask the employer questions but also I can loom up the company name with "scam" or "reviews" to see what others experience with the company.
Today I learned a lot about stocks. Prior to today the only knowledge I had about stocks was that it was a share of a company one can buy.But as of today I learned that there is different kind of stocks such as common stock and preferred stock. Also learned that a company can get divided into classes. I also learned how the stock market works, the different type of orders (a market order, a limit order, a stop order, and a buy stop order) also about the different types of stock trades such as market, limit, all-or-none etc... But my favorite part of today was learning how to read a stock chart. Prior today I would go into my stocks app on my iPhone and all I was Abel to understand was that it had numbers but as of today I can go on the stock app and have an idea of what's going on.
Today I learned a lot about cryptocurrency and how it works. Prior to today I knew the definition of Cryptocurrency but that's about it. Today I learned there's so many different ways you can use it for your business. I learned that they are hot and cold crypto wallets. There's Desktop, mobile and web wallets which all fall under the hot wallet. As for the cold wallets they can be used in the form of a hardware USB. I also learned how to set up a crypto wallet. Not only that I also learned that if you are a business owner you can use square to get paid.I found this really interesting because I always assumed you needed it one of those machines that other stores have but you can just connect it to your phone and your good to go.
Today most of my focus was on the introductory chapter to Techie Youth and how to make money from working from home/remotely. Today I learned about all the different jobs you can work in order to travel while still being at work. Before today I also had no idea that people used couchsurfing in order to travel and open their home to travelers its very similar to an Airbnb. Not only did I learn about how to can work while traveling I also learned about checks and how to write one. Till this day I haven't actually wrote a check out to someone because when I am giving money to someone I just send it to them through Zelle so it was really fun reading the articles about checks and how to not only write one but also how to endorse it.
