Today I didn’t learn much but I went over the entrepreneurship unit and did some of the assignment I’m almost half way done with it
Today I didn’t really learn much but I watched the python video because I self taught myself python but not with videos but I did use the app he recommended in the video. I already knew python I just wanted to refresh my memory on it
Yesterday I learned how to use java I’m still a bit confused on how to use commands such as whereis main and public, I understand the concept of string and all the other ones they taught and today I focused on digital art on how to sell it on social media platforms by promoting it without it being annoying and how others made a whole career from this.
Today I went over more types of coding so I can pick which I want to do and I did Php for today and tmr ima work on making the app for the assignment.
Today I went back to the beginning units and rewatched some videos to jog up my memory so I could complete the assignment. It went pretty well and I also looked more on different types of web developers and coders as well.
Today I learned about advertising and how to be an advertise. I wanted to see how people who makes games for free make money but it’s all from the in game purchases then you can make. I forgot to do day 17 my bad but during that day I focus on music production since I know how to create and make music because of middle school experience.
Today I didnt feel that well so I just learned random videos and looked at other web development videos to see what would make me feel better so i watched videos on that and video editing since my other program wants to try out making videos which i wanna see how i would be able to edit them.
Today I learned how to use TinkerCad because in my other program we are going to start using it to make a 3d printed rollercoaster and i also learned some DIY things such as bleach designing on clothes which gives me an idea on how to decorate the roller coaster. I got curious on if these simple DIY things do become successful I can maybe make it a business and now i know how to make it a business and how to plan it out if it does become something I like / love to do.
Today I focused on rewatching the SQL video to refresh my memories of it and I learned how its used today. SQL is very important programming language which manages data in an organized system. I learned this today because I wanted to make sure I know every type of coding language before I pick which one i wanna do to take seriously.
Today I learned about Forex which is another way of trading mainly foreign exchange trading. I also watched videos on how to improve my writing and what copywriting truly means. Today was a 10/10 it was relaxing and it went pretty well.
Today i focused on finishing options trading i finished the unit and didnt pass the test even though i am very confident with my answers, I even tried googles help and it shows my answers were correct for most of it. Tomorrow i will review it and retake the quiz. After I was done i watched more 3d printing videos since i am going to build a rollercoaster for my other program that i am in.
Today I focused on cryptocurrency , opinion trading and stocks. I learned this cause i always see my dad work on stocks and always trading. I finally know all the risks this has and how it works cause he would talk to me about most of it but i would have no clue what it means. Today was a 9/10 it was really good most of the videos made sense, i am still struggling a little bit on opinion trading but i think i got the basic concept of it.
Today was more on the stressful side since i forgot to do the quizzes for the assignment, very sorry about that. I spent the day making up past work and doing the quizzes. I also learned more on 3d engineering cause I think thats what i might actually want to be when im older. Im still not sure yet there are so many amazing things this website offers it so hard to just pick 1 and stick to it. Today was a 7/10 but everything went as i planned today which is good.
Today I learned mainly the programming languages and what each of them does. I finally know what type of work my uncle (whos software engineer that uses Javascript) does. I am more considering doing python since the pay is higher but the only thing is java is better for web development which is something very important, I might look into more 3d printing things since the Meta verse is going big soon and will most likely be the future.
Today I learned about how you can make art using adobe. I liked how the guy showed the basics and and how big mistakes can be solved by the simplest thing. I also watched videos on how to make social media accounts become better, most of them have a similar concept and i liked how the videos talked about other people who give advice but has no followers which is really funny. Today was a 9/10 i enjoyed it very much.
Today I focused more on stocks and 3d printing. Its cool to see all the apps and websites you can use for both of them. I also liked how it gave a tutorial about robinhood which my parents arent a big fan of but now i can have my own opinion about that app and see which app best works for me. I liked how a guy made a whole bunny out of a circle using 3d printing which was really cool.
Today I learned how to ask for an interview towards other companies as a web developer. I watched a lot of videos, I did get confused on a video about a guy talking about a website called GIT it confused me. Also it says I have only done 2 hours and a half of work when I have been watching all the videos. Today was a 8/10 for me tomorrow i will probably work on computer science jobs.
Today i mainly focused on what video editors do and how it affects the scenes. I mainly looked through this because of all the new amazing movies coming out like minions and Thor and was wondering how they did all the editing and other stuff for it. It was cool to see someone who won an award for acting gave a shoutout to their editor for making it possible. It seemed like the editor did have a big impact on her career. Today was a 10/10 for me.
Today I learned which type of programming language i would like to do which is Java Script , and i learned more about what people are looking for when you are applying for web development jobs. I also explored a bit more of the techie youth page its nice to see all the many things they have ready for others to learn and is a very helpful website.
Today i learned how to recruit people and if I was selected what type of process i may see. Some recruiters makes you do tasks to see how good you can solve it and whats your thought process behind it. I also watched the videos about writers even though I'm not interested in writing, I liked how one of the writers was inspired by what she saw growing up and how she wanted to change it and make it sound better in her own words. Soon i will find which topic I'm most interested in and will stick to that.
I learned how to become a web developer by first knowing computer science which is a class i really want to take in highschool but didnt get accepted so its nice to find information on how I can self study because I am planning to take the AP test for it even though i didnt get accepted to the class. I was also browsing through all the options techie youth has and it has a lot of them which is very nice and interesting.
Today I found out the many amazing options techie youth has and lots of them interests me, i personally found the 3D printing online things very cool and watched videos on how to use Tinkercard. I also learned that there are so many languages you can choose from in order to make an app, create websites, etc. I also liked how they went into detail on how to relieve stress from exercising, and how to not get scammed. I loved how it also talked about what to expect from remote jobs and why some may not like it. I also learned how to write a check and deposit one. My experience with Techie Youth is a 10/10 today, can't wait to learn more!
