Executive Summary
An executive summary is the abridged form of a business plan.
Business name and your contact info
The name of your business should be at the top of the executive summary, along with your contact info (usually email and phone number.)
If you already have a logo, include it next to your business name.
If your business is online then include a link to the website or a description how to access it (i.e. available in the Apple App Store.)
If your business has a physical presence then include the address.
Elevator pitch
The executive summary must begin with a 1-2 sentence explanation of what your business does, how it will make money and your value proposition - essentially, what is the incentive for customers to utilize your business.
The two sections above must be at the
top of your executive summary All the sections below can be included in any order so long as they are all there; it is suggested (but not required) to put your strongest or most- impressive factors first.
Business model and financials explain how your business operates and provide an overview of major financial factors such as how your business will earn money, what are your operational costs, how much money you will need to get started and what that funds will be utilized for.
