Job Requirements - I learned this at Techie Youth today!

Today at Techie Youth I learned about job requirements. Being a job requirer means you should have patience, communication skills, attentiveness, and effective listening skills. Since the pandemic there have been new expectations now part of recruitment such as critical thinking skills and ability to work well with technology. To practice these skills, one must be comfortable with social media to see any potential candidates. Linkedin is a great option to see resumes and experience. Instagram works as well because the platform is so diverse. Some ways to interview are through the phone and in person. A cover letter should be looked over to see if the candidate can follow directions to write a persuasive letter.

Niche Websites - I learned this at Techie Youth today!

Today at Techie Youth I learned that niche websites are sites that focus on a smaller part of bigger markets. They are meant to provide content that will help answer questions that their consumers will have, or solve any issues. Niche websites are online resources catering to a specific interest, topic, or theme. The goal is to create quality content that discusses and reviews what you are meant to be promoting. It is crucial to have a very specific main keyboard because you can’t be broad. This leads to too much competition by going after larger markets. Specifying your niche will also allow for higher earning potential.

Social Network Community Organizing - I learned this at Techie Youth today!

Today at Techie Youth I leaned about Instagram social niche pages. Instagram is a popular social networking site that today has 1 billion monthly active users. There’s many profitable social niches to take up, and you must decide your content ideas in doing so. Anybody can start doing this, and some examples of theme pages include travel, fitness, and fashion. Likes and comments on your account are not meant to gauge your success. Instead, check the audience tab and see if you’re attracting your target market to your feed. Are they coming from the right country? That’s one question you can ask yourself. If your audience differs from your intended target, then you have to adjust your strategy. I also learned about how to gain an audience on apps such as TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Business Models and Domain Names- I learned this at Techie Youth today!

Today at Techie Youth I learned about business models. They’re high-level plans for profitably operating a business in your marketplace a choice. Business models should consider startup and financing costs, competition review, projections of revenues and expenses, and description of goods or services they offer, and why consumers will benefit, known as a proposition. I also learned about how to buy and sell domain names to earn profit. One, you should narrow your focus down and think about names that will prove more valuable to someone in a specific industry. Target it towards your audience. Two, find names that offer value. Think about if you would buy this name had you were the buyer. Third, check availability to see if the name is taken or not. Four, evaluated if the price is fair. If you absolutely need it, take it quickly and make an offer to avoid a bidding war. Five, get your domain!

Entrepreneurship and Native vs. Hybrid Apps – I learned this at Techie Youth today!

Today at Techie Youth I learned how to seek and find key partners in entrepreneurship. Contracting individuals or a smaller business for a few hours may be more helpful than hiring someone long-term if money is an issue. There are government health and safety requirements to pass, suppliers to find, and consumers to locate. It’s best to have a partner in product launching so that you will have their guidance to achieve your goals. The two biggest operating systems are iOS and Android. Two types of mobile apps that you can choose to build are native and hybrid apps. The native ones are the majority of apps seen on your phone built for a specific programming language. Some include the New York Times and Pokemon apps. However, hybrid apps are similar to native but they’re like a web app on the inside.
