Today i had to go h rough my work to make sure i had done all of it properly and make sure i had my emails in order, so i can make sure that i read everything right in terms of my missing credits and my missing pay as im also still missing my review of my social medias.
Today i still going through my work to make sure i did everything and i am completed with both prerequisites without the credits given so I am unsure what is wrong. I made sure i watched all the videos and read all the articles along with the assignments with them and still waiting for approval of my social medias. I also have to edit my executive summary and my other curriculum I had done recently.
Today i went back to my old assignments that i through i completed and finished both the prerequisites finally and now they are 100% completed and now im still waiting for my social medias to be assessed for completion and tomorrow ill fix my executive summary and the rest of my entrepreneurship quizzes.
Today i finished the videos about the different trading options since i have 4 long videos to watch. After that i went back so make sure all my work was done that way i can have the credits i missed from the beginning. I mainly made revisions to my assignments like social medias, my executive summary and quizzes. I want to finish this that way i am not behind anymore.
Today I went through half of the parts on different trading strategies like finding specific changes on a graph that can create a significant boom or decrease in the company that could be predicted before it happens and how the changes work.
Today i learned about the different trading options called call and put options. Calling is a term where you buy and bet that the price point will go up, and a put is where you buy and bet that the price poing will go down. As this changes the playing field for buying and selling but is still pretty high risk in terms of loss of money for the buyer.
Today i finished off with forex and some of the cons of it, like crashes between the currencies and how common scammers are. I after moved to REITs and am a little lost, but it’s still the beginning and have a slight idea of how it is since its like real estate. Though, i do want to read into currency trading more as i would like to try this for myself and i wanna make i understand this correctly and will be using the advice given like the apps to use and how to start slow.
Today i learned about trading different currencies and forex and how to read the graphs to create proper predictions on how the fluctuation will affect your funds and when to find the moment to buy and sell properly to keep your profits before the numbers change.
Today i learned how the stock market works and how and when to buy, sell, and trade stocks and what kind of category of buyer i could be. I also learned about some key info about stocks like important vocabulary that i need to memorize and how to properly think of what to do with my money responsibly when working with stocks. I also learned about crypto and its different aspects like certain scams and historical dilemmas that had occurred and how it works in terms in buying and selling, But also learned another term called mining that had been popularized and some different cryptos and their benefactors as well.
Today i finished my assignment in entrepreneurship and i am very surprised that was able to think of an idea and I’ve come to realize that there is a lot that goes into creating a business idea and the steps that you need to take are very long and plenty for your ideas to come to life. I am now moving on to the stocks and crypto assignment and watched the intro video and moved into the trading stocks sub assignment.
Today I made adjustments and figured out the cost, the amount of time, and how much assistance I’d need to create my business idea and make it mvp to start app creation, beta testing and I have an idea of a few companies I’d push my narrative toward bringing my idea to reality.
Today I have thought of what I want my product to be. I want to do a virtual assistant kind of like Amazon Alexa, but made for an app that allows buy and selling of products that the assistant can do for you if you’re busy rather than having you look. Meaning the assistant can make purchases and sell your items for you whenever you want. I will now start making the proper adjustments for price and research for this to be applicable to society.
Today i learned about the start up of a business like making sure its mvp and getting advice from many people as i make sure they wont give me constructive criticism rather than an immediate yes, along with conducting experiments with others to prove my ideas worth and its safety to the public. I also learned how to manage a business like employment and workers. This entailed with many ways to manage people and to terminate them if need be and what kind of actions to take while doing so. After this i started my assignment of creating an executive summary of my own business idea and i will spend some time today on what id like to do and making sure its mvp worthy when i have my idea that way i can write my summary with detail and be on track to completion.
Today i just reviewed the profit models to retake the quiz and realized i had missed an article that shows you the different types of models used by businesses and what they would be used for in different instances. I am currently behind due to these quizzes and need to do more if i plan on moving forward in the program and will do so. I need to makes sure i pay attention more and complete a more sufficient amount of work from now on and i will not make excuses for my ignorance.
Today i completed 1 quiz for entrepreneurship. With now two quizzes (one in life quality, and one in entrepreneurship that once complete i will finally be able to move on to the next part of the entrepreneurship unit so i can pick one of the other assignments of my interests finally.
Today i redid the mentors and role models unit and complete the quiz properly and had to once more fix my social medias so they all had my name somewhere in the account and am still having trouble with one of the questions to the finances quiz and i feel stumped. I plan on googling for information since i dont really see what im looking for in the unit.
Today instead of working on the finances quiz all day which I’ve been stuck on, i went to to time management and did a review on the whole section to retake the quiz and passed. It was good to review though as there were some things that i didn't understand properly the first time.
Today I wasn’t able to do much due to complications but I still made sure to continue to review for the quizzes I failed and I feel as if I’m missing something or it didn’t catch my eye because I am still kind of confused with the quiz questions and how they’re wrong. But if this persists I’ll likely ask for assistance.
Today was very slow as i was fixing complications with the linking of my social media information as it wasn't copying the link properly and ended up having to troubleshoot with a few google searches online to get the right URL. After that i continued working on the failed quizzes though i am having a little of a hard time and i might be missing some information that im not quite getting yet and will continue onto the next quiz for now to stay productive.
Today I had took the time to review the past assignments to make sure I can get a passing grade on my tests. I have been slightly confused but I will figure it out. I had made a stop on entrepreneurship due to this and plan to continue once I’m done
Today i looked over how to cofound and the customer and market process while making an end for a company as positive as possible that way there is still profit and not a greater loss. I also studied to improve my quiz scores to complete my last prerequisite officially.
Today i went on to learn about profits and how much more important it is rather than just being money like how it works and what it should be used for. After completing that i went on to finish the last two quizzes in the first prerequisite and will do the other 3 in the second prerequisite to get the credits.
For today i dived into how to be bold and speak to an audience with confidence and how you should start a business and the dos and don’ts that i should do in order to create a operational business and good ways to get advice on the starting ideas. I also learned the importance of all jobs for the satisfaction of customers.
This start of the week i had a look into how to be a leader and entrepreneur. I had watched many videos on the mental and physical aspects and how you should act when talking to people making a strong sense of following for your audience and create their interest in you.
Today has really been an eye opener for me. I realize i spend most of my time wasting it rather than actually spending that time as i take it for granted. after completing my assignment for the second prerequisite im going to take the time to make sure i review all of what I’ve learned instead of treating it as class work and make sure that i am really reflecting on the time i spend in this program and also make sure all my quizzes are passed so I can move on and pick an assignment of my interest after i complete the introduction to entrepreneurship. I want to make more proper use of my time and actually show it rather than just saying it to my friends and family and grow from this experience.
From the second prerequisite i have been taught the differences between a mentor and a role model and how one another may be similar, but work very differently than it would seem and i also continue to work on my quizzing skills.
Ive today learned on how impactful time management really is and how much it can really affect your daily life. This also hit really close to home since i waste a lot of time and tend to procrastinate a lot.
I have now moved on to the second prerequisite assignment for the intro. I do still need to do some of the quizzes for the first assignment since i didn’t pass them and plan on retaking them tomorrow. I so far had learned how to save money and cutting costs on items we shouldn’t buy as much of as we do. Ive also learned about negotiating and some effective ways to do so.
In recent events i have come to the final part to my first prerequisite intro and have watched many videos and read a lot on how to have a positive workplace when remote and how to still be helpful to my coworkers and boss from my home. On the other hand , i also learned the dangers of scams and how to identify them for my own safety and what precautions i should take to ensure my safety. Tomorrow once i finish i will continue to the next prerequisite intro.
Today i am nearing the end of my first prerequisite unit and will be moving to the second one come Monday. Today i learned about remote learning and jobs from applying for one to being in the interview which was helpful since i didn’t even have a cover letter. I had also learned about digital footprints and how they're looked upon a lot when you are being analyzed for a position from a supervisor. I am currently going through different kinds of remote jobs and what kind of positives and negatives they have on employees.
Today i started with the introduction of my techie youth journey as a syep participant. So far im about halfway done with the intro to making money online. So far i have understood what im doing and have started with learning how cryto works and crypto wallets along with having a credit card and the information that i would need to know like, the difference in checking and savings accounts and how to write and cash in a check online.
