Entrepreneurship (More)

Today I went back to the entrepreneurship section to view sections I have not looked at yet. When you are a boss of a business, there is a smart way to terminate or fire somebody. It is smart to do it in a way where they can’t damage something or someone in the area. That means you must have witnesses to make sure they don’t get violent and to make sure there is proof that they were terminated or fired. Make sure when you do it, they are far away from any work equipment stop that they don’t delete important files. To be a leader, you have to have the same energy you did on the first day. You can’t be the nice guy for most of the time and then all of a sudden try to be the bad cop. The employees will only respect you if you were the bad cop in the first place.

Video Editing Packages

When freelancing with video editing using packages is important. The two factors of determining how much you charge for your half-da and day packages are your experience level and equipment price. There is usually a video-shoot fee that you give customers and an hourly rate for editing the video. If you have more expensive equipment, you are allowed to charge more for the video-shoot since the customer doesn't have to rent the expensive equipment that you paid money for. If you are someone who is more experienced and has great credentials in the editing world, you can also charge more than the average editor.

Editing Software

Today I learned more about different video editing applications. Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Hitfilm and Filmora are some of the applications I learned about. DaVinci Resolve is the one that stands out the most to me. I already have experience with it and would be the most comfortable editing someone's video with it. I've used Adobe Premiere before but it is not free, I used it from someone else's account. Hitfilm is also something I used to use, but I do not enjoy the layout as much as I do on DaVinci Resolve.

Video Editing

Today I learned about the first things I need to know about video editing. Video editing is a form of freelancing. You don't have to be officially hired by anyone to make money from video editing. You can be paid for your service from a site like Fiverr. One of the most popular video editing platforms is Adobe Premiere. Making sure the edits you do fits the vibe of the whole video is important. You also must make sure that the audio is perfectly lined up. Become great and you can make plenty of profit with editing. The more creative your editing style is, the more likely it is that people will pay more.

Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship

Today I learned about the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. In order to be a great entrepreneur, you must be a great leader. One of the key requirements of being a leader is being confident. You have to speak to people like you know exactly what you are talking about. Look everyone in the eyes when you are speaking so that they know you speak directly. Being an entrepreneur does not mean you get to work less than others. A 9-5 takes a lot of work, but running a business takes work too. You have to be willing to wake up earlier than most people and work towards your goals. You have to be able to take responsibility when others around you are followers.

Earning Money Online

Today I learned more ways to earn money online. Creating a social media that has a niche is a great way to earn profits. Targeting a specific group of people that you have similar interests with allows you to easily create an audience to grow your platform. Having a platform leads to sponsorships and deals with companies that are related to that niche. Stocks are a great way to earn money too. The key approach is to buy low and sell high. You have to make sure you are familiar with the company or the type of company that the stock is from.

Maintaining Happiness

Today I learned ways for people to stay happy while pursuing greatness. One of the ways to maintain happiness is to focus only on what you can control. You can't control someone's actions or words towards you, but you can control how you react. Life will never be a straight path, there will always be setbacks. You must expect setbacks and act accordingly. Even if you have anxious thoughts in certain situations, you should still go through with whatever you were going to do. Your are more than likely overthinking. The people that you look up to as mentors should have a positive influence on you. Their energy when they are around you should be inspiring. Also, you need to stay happy within your career. Your career should be something you won't get tired of. The best way to do this is to find a skill that you are great at and monetize it. At that point, your career doesn't feel like a chore.

Getting Tasks Done

Today, I learned about ways to manage my time better and complete daily tasks effectively. I should have a plan written for the day that lists out tasks that I have to get done no matter what. There must be enough time for me to complete all of those tasks, so unnecessary things must be cut out. Anything other than food and water are distractions during work time. Do not try to do two tasks at one because both tasks will be done poorly.

Investing Your Money

The fact that you should never make the first offer in a deal is repeated. If you are negotiating with someone and the money they are offering is higher than you would like, add something to the deal that takes away from them to provide good reason for you paying more. If you do not want to waste time, ask the person what the lowest they would give you for the deal is. While making a sale, it is good to have an intimidating aura so that it is harder for someone to say no to you. People do not like to contradict. You have to be extremely confident to succeed in sales.

Things I learned from the Introduction 2

Today I learned how to prepare for a job interview and ways to present yourself in a zoom meeting. For a job interview, it is important to study the company that you are being interviewed for. You never want to ask an interviewer to remind you what the company does. Look into the company's values before you arrive. They need to know why your skills can serve them. Do not ever say no when asked if you have questions because that show the lack of interest in the job. For zoom meetings, you want to always look just as presentable as you would in-person. Make sure your hair is neat, your shirt is clean and your background isn't a mess. Have good lighting and make sure your camera isn't too low or too high. For negotiations, you never want to make the first offer. Most of the time, the person who makes the offer first never leaves satisfied. No matter what, be willing to walk away from a deal if your expectations for the deal you want isn't met.

Things I learned from the Introduction 1

Today I learned many things in the Introduction section. One of the things I learned is that in order to strive in the business world, you always have to be first. When you are looking for a position, you have to be willing to make the first step of joining the organization at that moment. If not, someone else who is hungrier for your position will take it. Another thing I learned is that money can be made online for being an affiliate. If you build up your social media following, you can earn enough credibility to be able to promote a brand while receiving a commission. Having a LinkedIn to provide businesses or people a way to see what you can offer them is good. This is why I added TechieYouth as experience on my account.
