I took a quiz about getting started with web sites & HTML & aesthetic formatting. In order to refresh my memory when I previously learned about the topic.
I learned how you can get a job as a web developer & what an employer would need to see to hire you as their web developer.
So today I learned about google analytics and what it does. It tracks what’s going on on your websites & the traffic and allows you to know more about what’s going on. Also who maybe accessing your website which can be really good for safety reasons.
Today I focused on web designing. I got shown some ideas of well designed websites for inspiration. How to get clients even without a fully developed work history. Also how to design a website to where it’s marketable and looks appealing.
I focused on word pressing today which is a popular free system used to build and take care of websites. It’s used on almost every website to manage data and edit the content shown on the website.
I’ve learned about website administration which mainly revolves around allowing people to access your websites. Also learning how to host it so you can make necessary changes & managing your website security.
Big summary:
I am currently learning how to make a website accessible to everyone so anybody can use my website without an issue. Also how to share hosting so who else can have control over the website along with me. I’ve also been learning the difference between developer roles like a back end & front end developer. Also a CTO which I heard somebody mention in a show I was watching but I didn’t know what it was them but now I do (Chief Technical Officer)
Today I learned the seemingly difficult way websites are designed & the type of formatting used which is CSS. I feel like it doesn’t seem too difficult if you just thoroughly follow the instructions.
So today I focused my studies on Web design. I mainly focused on the fundamentals of it such as how ideas of how you should develop your website, salaries & people who learn about it virtually. Something new I learned today was that CSS aka Cascading style sheets is a commonly used style sheet language.
In the past week I have been focusing on the topic of music production. I have been learning about how much work, time & effort it takes to put into the art of music. I’ve learned that artist may not use a MIDI file as an MP3 because you’ll have to use physical instruments rather than the alternative and a little bit about how famous artist Timbaland produces his music.An interesting fact I’ve learned was that every 1 million views on spotify artist make $3,000 or more. I find this interesting because I thought they would make more than that.
