Exchanging skills for Money

Today I learned about providing different serviced in other words exchanging my skilled time for money. Most of theses skills are very easy and straightforward to learn and even qualify for low skilled skilled jobs. These skills include Writing and content creation, Online tutoring, Digital marketing, Online data entry, Paid research jobs, transcription etc. However, there are specialized services you can learn that may only be fit for people with specific abilities/talents such as voice acting, selling stock photographs/video/audio, artistry, online modeling etc. Moreover if having trouble finding where to work at I can look at websites like upward and freelancer.com. Additionally, I learned that I can also get paid to share my knowledge, wisdom, and expertise because most people have areas of knowledge that they have become very savvy or experts at. These can be academic skills like being great at math or fun skills like having expertise in a sport or a life-wisdom like being experienced with how to cope with a specific type of life-challenge. Whatever your skill, it is possible that there are people who would pay you to consult with them

When learning Ai you gotta learn things like programming and algorithms, and understand the fundamental systems that humans think like how to make computers replicate certain activities. Artificial Intelligence is the capability of a machine or computer device to emulate human intelligence (cognitive process), acquire from experiences, adapt to the latest information and operate humans-like-activities. When getting into Ai I learned that there are 6 branches such as machine learning, neural network, robotics, expert systems, fuzzy logic, and natural language processing all of which are to build up software systems for diverse applications like automatic learning, knowledge, natural language, and speech recognition.

Creating and Selling Art as a Business

Today I Learned about Digital Art. Digital Art can be done by ANYONE plus you can make a business out of it, Creating and selling art has a relatively low barrier to entry. For example, a method of creating digital art that I personally do is Computer-based sketching, drawing, and painting for a traditional-style artwork created digitally. When it comes to selling your art you have to think about preparing your digital images for sale. The buyer of a digital image would typically either print the image themselves or use it as-is for an electronic installation. There is no expense to you when selling digital art, but it also can limit your profit potential since customers will only pay so much for it, and transmitting digital art can be prone to copyright fraud. An alternative income source is to create your digital art and then sell objects that have your art on them.

Making Sales

Today I learned that when having your own business something that you have to learn and know how to do is sell your product. By doing this you need to know where to sell your products either in an online marketplace or your own individual website, also sales funnels have become a popular Channel to sell an item. There are some websites that have huge advantages like their customer base however your product will be competing with others products. Moreover Selling on your own website instead of a marketplace is akin to opening your own shop, you have the maximum control but will also have the added challenge of driving customers to your store. Also when talking about sales funnels it is essentially a targeted online channel that drives customers to fulfill a very specific task, such as buying a single item that is a strong match with their interests. The downside of sales funnels is that they have very expensive subscription fees but it can be a worthwhile investment because they do typically increase sales.

Robotic product Business

Today I learned about what a robotic product is. They are essentially referred to as functional objects that can be interacted with physically and are powered by custom electronics and/or a programmable microcontroller. The basic principle of a robotic product is that it monitors various types of inputs and uses that info to determine what it should output. Therefore I also learned that there is a business side to robotic products which is that you can sell them. For example, a project that is considered a programmable project are Raspberry Pi which is user-friendly circuit board that contains a programmable microcontroller and various other components that assist and simplify integrating it into a project, interfacing with it, and connecting it to other components and sensors. However, in order to start, it is actually best to start out with an idea that has already been done before so that you can follow what they did and get a feel for how everything works. Once you become comfortable programming circuits you can then graduate on to more complex and original ideas and then you will need to purchase a programmable prototyping board and various electronic accessories. The type of board that you choose depends on the complexity of your idea, and your personal comfort with configuring a microcontroller board.

However, some consideration to keep in mind is printing can be pretty expensive and that with current technologies, 3D printing is notoriously error-prone, with a frequent occurrence of failed prints. It is important to plan and account for periodically failed prints that result in lost time and the cost of wasted printing consumables. I also found out about many software that can be used to create these 3D objects most of which are free like tinkled, blender, Autodesk mesh mixer etc.

Today I learnt red about selling art online. Personally, this was very useful to me because I am an artist while also interested in business so I loved learning how I can incorporate business and my artistic side together. On top of this its very important to learn the patterns of a business model such as unbundling, long tail, Muti-sided platform, free, and open etc. However, the most common business models used for digital goods are direct sales (selling the digital item as you would an ordinary product,).

Digital good and Blogging

Today I learned about digital goods and the digital market. The digital market is full of virtual products that you can’t feel. They are also referred to as digital products, digital services, electronic goods or electronic services, and e-good or e-services. With this in mind, I know that many entrepreneurs build entire businesses around these intangible goods, due to their popularity and ease of distribution, or launch digital products to sell complementary to the physical items or services they offer. Selling these digital products is so appealing because they can be created once and sold repeatedly to different customers without having to replenish inventory, making them ideal for creatives, bloggers, educators, and freelancers looking for passive ways to make money online that require less effort to maintain.

I also learned about blogging which is also known for being a blog. Blogging has many purposes such as personal journals (hobby blogs), creative expression, teaching and coaching others, selling products, promoting brands

In addition, I learned important factors of operating a Facebook group such as making sure to post content that your members need or want, always post content consistent with your theme, and posting frequently and/or on a set schedule. Another social thrum I learned about is WeChat which is a multi-purpose messaging, social media, and mobile payment app. Overall it's a great service account for online marketing and where you can engage users and make profit.

content creation

Today I learned how to create better content for my “customers” if I were to have a business. In web marketing, “content” simply means a piece of information that’s available electronically. Something that is key is marketing, like content marketing which is also about using the best tools out there (like social networks) to promote your valuable content, in order to attract and retain customers. There are challenges when producing types of content that engage customers. I also learned that you should ALWAYS have a plan for every content you create. Overall, you need to understand your target audience and you need to create great content that appeals to them.

I also learned free and paid ways to drive more traffic to my website if I were to make one.  Getting more website traffic is a shared goal among many business owners and marketers. Stocks and Niche

Today I learned more about stocks and how they work. I learned that Investors purchase stocks in companies they think will go up in value. If that happens, the company's stock increases in value as well. The stock can then be sold for a profit.

When you own stock in a company, you are called a shareholder because you share in the company's profits. For companies, issuing stock can be a way to raise money to pay off debt, launch new products, or expand their operations, etc.I also learned different kinds of stocks like dividend stocks which dividends are regular payments to shareholders. Not all stocks pay dividends, but those that do typically do so on a quarterly basis. Preferred stocks typically pay fixed dividends, so owners can count on a set amount of income from the stock each year.

I also learned what niches are and some helpful resources on how to find and create niches.

Importance of asking for help and stocks/cryptocurrency

was taught the importance of getting help from others. This is because entrepreneurs get help from people which is beneficial for them and their journey. Key partners are important to have because if you are growing a business you will gain a advantage of economies of scale- as your production becomes more efficient and sales increase, your business will order grow moue while lowering the cost of items you produce. This leads to another advantage such as reducing the risk or getting exposed to factors that would lower profit or even cause failure. Overall doing business alone would most likely make your business grow slowly and you would most likely have a lot of obstacles throughout which increases the risks of failure.

I learned that stocks are shares of real companies such as Apple that are on the stock exchange. Whereas cryptocurrencies are virtual money such as bitcoin that you trade or exchange into other currencies. These are two investment strategies where you can gain or even lose lots of money. However, the risks are based on how much money you put in for all your investments.

Analyzing your startup and Profit model

I learned how to analyze if your your startup will fail or has success potential.. One major point that I gained was that I can learn from other people failures if they have done a similar business than me. Also make sure your MVP is a reasonable amount of resources and make an executive summary to prove its success and shortcomings to determine if you pivot or not. I also received advice that you shouldn’t tell people your business idea or else they will steal it. I have heard people say this so many times however this is not good advice because this is how you get feedback and how your business grows plus you are probably not the first person who has thought of the same idea. U gotta talk to people about your business to potentially gain customers and overall bring I to market.

I also learned what a profit model is which refers to a company’s plan that aims to make a business profitable and viable. This plans lays out what the company plans to manufacture and provide, how sales are generated and all the expenses the business will incur in a bid to make the model viable. I learned that there are many types of models and many components of a profit model such as its production and operating component, sales and marketing component etc.

Getting started is to just not only work harder but work smarter. I also learned that in life u cannot expect people to give you anything if you don’t ask. Like in interviews if you want a job ask for the position in person.

On top of this, I learned the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. I learned what entrepreneurship is which in this case the start of a business that you can start anywhere in the world. With the business potential, there are risks involved as well. Some risks include not making any costs or making of money. Time management and learning how to stay cool under pressure

learned about time management and how to manage my time better. Some ways to do this is to plan you day based on your schedule, time, and priorities. I personally thinking managing my time more efficiently will help me in the long run since I now have more responsibilities like school and work. This way I can get more done and am less likely to forget tasks or become sidetracked. I was even encouraged to create my own log of how I spend each hour of each day and analyze it to teach me how to increase my productivity and make Bette use of my time.

On top of learning how to manage my time, I was taught ways to invest in my health and well-being. For example committing to adequate sleep, exercising, meditating, and fixing what I eat.

As someone that stresses when they are under pressure, I’ve learned a couple of things about how to stay cool under pressure. To do this I learned that I must have contingency plans by being aware that not everything will not go right and so I’ll need more than a plan A. Also having to be able to stay focused in order to deal with the situation I’m facing, and not letting my emotions drive me.

Red Flags and learning how to invest my money

I learned how to spot red flags and not to be a victim of scammers. One way is to never be in a position of being in a desperate situation for a solution. Don’t fall for scammers who talk big and if they ask you for money upfront. Scammers would also use tactics of scarcity and urgency. Techie youth also informed me about website scam trackers that I could potentially use in the future.

In addition, I also learned how to create a resume when it comes to the dos and doesn’t like how to list your skills and experience. I also learned how to be financially responsible and how to save money by knowing the difference between necessities and luxuries, tracking my expenses, cutting expenses abs increasing my income, saving and investing etc. In terms, if investing your money I learned u can invest your money in things like real estate, stocks, nft, reits, etc.

Making Choices and learning to taking action

What I learned at Techie Youth today is how to make good investment choices - have things that appreciate in value than depreciate. By asking yourself if u really need it or just want something. Don’t do it for the wrong reasons like showing off your wealth because that impact u and how your money will work.

Made me realize the life of entrepreneurship is the lifestyle I want because you can work whenever u want wherever u want and can make your own schedule. For the most part, it’s important to have something that drives you because that strong motivation makes you really motivated to succeed as a business person.

I learned how to master networking. For example, don’t be afraid to make conversation and network. Success comes from network and connection. Makes sure to not let people waste your time. Message who you networked with to stand out. If u wanna make connections make sure to provide an incentive instead of just taking. On top of this I learned tips and steps on setting and achieving goals at work like getting clarity on my team's structure, talking to my boss periodically, and how to have to schedule periodic check-ins with my team at work wether remote or on-site

Being a remote Recruiter and financial education

At Tech Youth, I learned that resilience is key to leadership. Good leaders pave their own path and are not afraid to take opportunities and could care less about what others think about them. When wanting to be a remote recruiter, there are benefits that come with it like no commute, better control of health, increased productivity, and mobility. Therefore, it has a great work and life balance. I also learned about common remote activities, how much u can earn with them and how working remote can improve your lifestyle. However, I also learned the realities of remote work, including the challenges to overcome, like overworking yourself. I also learned to have a positive public image is extremely important, especially when applying for a job because almost every recruiting job checks for your social media to see what kind of person you are and to see if u have posted something inappropriate or controversial.

On top of this, I learned the anatomy of a personal check, what a checking account is and how it works, the difference between checking and savings, and how to open each account. This is very useful because now I am more knowledgeable and motivated to open a savings account with my bank.
