Today I used what I learned yesterday about Garageband and created a song I uploaded. I also learned about writing for a profit and how it can be hard to make a profit if you're a slow writer. I learned how live performance is one of the best ways to make a profit in the music industry and having a diverse music portfolio will help you get further than sticking to the same flow at all times.
Today I learned how to use Garageband to make music. I read through the articles and watched videos on how to work with beats. I'm currently trying to create a song for the assignment. I also learned about how to avoid copyrights and how to license music.
Today I learned about the different careers you can pursue in music. I learned that the highest paying position is video and sound engineers given that they are needed in almost every music production. I also learn that most of the stuff that you can do In a studio you can do at home in a computer with the right equipment. Also for niche assignment, I added a website I had created a while back for a project with minor edits.
Today I worked on editing my executive summary for a business proposal and learned how important and difficult it is to create a budget to start your business. I also learned about WordPress and how much easier they make it for you to create your own website . I also learned that web hosting services help to expose your website online.

Today I learned about SSL security and how to identify whether a website is secured and has it. I have created a website on a website generator before but I never knew about having SSL in order to protect it from hackers and the safety insurance the website provides.
Today I focused on learning how to build an app. I'm still in the process of creating the app but taking it step by step to ensure I don't have any errors. The app that I have in mind is an app that allows people to make appointments without having to wait long hours on the phone and then it tells them what type of payments that place takes such as insurance and what type.
Today I learned that options are financial derivates where buyers have the right but are not obligated to sell assets at an agreed price. I learned that they are versatile financial products. Some of the articles I read go into detail of the difference between call and put options the main one being call options allowing the holder to buy the asset for a price for a specific time.
Today I went over my forex quiz again to clarify I understood what I was learning. I also got a lot of information on trading options but I didn't fully understand the concept, which means I have to review it again in order to understand the step-by-step of trading. I know the basics of Robinhood but I still need to learn more about how to spot the right stocks to purchase. I don't have many details on what I learned because I'm still navigating the concept of trading.
Today I learned a little about everything, but what I mostly learned was about the different methods to get paid. and how important it is to choose the right method of payment with the right company.
Today I learned a lot about entrepreneurship. I mostly learned about branding and creating a website. The in-depth video on creating a website was informational and made me feel capable of creating one. I also learned about graphic design scammers that would use another brand's logo for your own logo, creating copyright issues for you in the future.
Today I have learned from successful business owners such as jeff Bezos what it takes to build a small business into a large company. I learned the importance of working for your customers rather than yourself since they are the ones paying you for your service. I learned about Competition, Defensibility, and exit strategies.
Today I focused on looking at Entrepreneurs, what it takes to be one, and the pros and cons of being one. Working for others or for corporate America is not for everybody, leading people to decide to build a business of their own. Being a business owner is not easy and often results and many losses and winning. As an entrepreneur, you are required to establish your brand, what your business stands for and what's your target audience. You need to learn how to speak from a professional and captivating point of view. I also witness how many people work at a job and have their own side hustle which oftentimes is a small business that they are building. Additionally, I learned about hard and soft skills which actually helped me go back to when I learned about writing a better resumé and what should be listed.
In combination with what I learned on Friday. I have been learning about stocks and cryptocurrencies. Today I have been learning about foreign exchange trading which is the trading of currencies for a value agreed upon. I learned the basics about reading charts and how we should sell when the chart goes up and buy when it goes down to improve our income. I also learned that for forex we need to stay disciplined, Have a predetermined risk management strategy, Be passionate about trading, Not to be afraid to get aggressive when needed, and Be flexible and know when to take your losses. Trading is about patience and being open to losing because the trading market is volatile.
I have always known the importance of exercising but never thought about how much it can influence your state of mind. Today I watched a video about exercising and how you are prone to be happier and have less depression when you work out often. This is important to know because as a society people are starting to speak more about mental health and depression seems to be increasing. This stood out to me because it made me realize how after I stopped going to the gym I had less energy and I'm not as motivated and productive. I also learned that for something to become a habit you just have to do it for 21 days and for it to become permanent you have to do it for 90 days.
Today I spent most of my time going over time management skills and how to prove the ones that I already have. Something that was particularly interesting was learning how when we spend time looking for discounts and waiting in long lines we are actually losing time that equals money therefore we are losing more money. This is a different way of viewing things that I never thought about. Additionally, I downloaded one of the applications for time management listed in order to help me organize better and prioritize.
Today I learned clear indicators of scams, number 1 being if its too good to be true it might be. I also learned the basics of building a successful cover letter and how to tailor it to different companies. Additionally, I learned how to improve my resume and answer the basic questions that they ask in interviews.
Today I learned what it takes to be a content creator on social media and realized that's not a job I would enjoy. I also learned you can be a virtual assistant without experience with the right skills.
