What I Learned at Techie Youth (August 10)

While watching more Techie Youth videos, I began learning more about the other steps to creating a business. You must make sure to first accommodate your target audience and hire people who are also passionate about the future of your business. As your business grows, it will become impossible to manage if you don't have a right-hand man there to help you through. You also want to expand further and the most efficient and cheap way to do this is with social media! Use everything you have to your advantage.

What I Learned at Techie Youth

Throughout the day, I just wanted to look more into branding. Though I know it is not a major part of starting a business, it really can give you a head start on your journey. If you know what you want as your logo, you now have something that distinguishes you from the competition. With a name and a logo, your business is now easy to notice and whoever enjoys the service you put out will remember that name and logo you use!

What I Learned at Techie Youth

I hoped to focus more on branding and the building blocks of one along with the things you should avoid. One of the main things is originality while making sure you aren't unintentionally stealing other ideas. For example, referring back to my food truck project, I also had the job of analyzing competition in my area! There were numerous arepa food chains in my area but I had to do something to make it stand out, whether it be my logo or my menu items. There must always be something that makes your business stand out!

I began looking even further into the building blocks of a business being personalization! Motivation, personalization, and funding are all important parts of keeping a business afloat. The use of your assets is vital as you continue learning more about being a business owner along with how to fuel the fire to keep it strong and burning. Businesses are very delicate but with the correct handling, it can be the best decision one can make!

What I Learned at Techie Youth

As I look back at what I've learned, I realize the importance of personalizing your business to make it your own. While also hinting at your own personal interests in your business, you make it stand out to others. From your name to your logo, culture, and hobbies, these are all unique things that can be a great addition to your business. For example, in one of my school projects, I had to create a food truck business, and with the use of my culture, I invented an area foodtruck. I combined both my nationalities to create a delicious Colombian-American food truck while creating a logo that I felt related to me!

What I Learned at Techie Youth

As a refresher, I looked back at everything I'd learned in the past and analyzed how it could be used in real-world situations. Motivation is a significant factor in most businesses as it keeps entrepreneurs open to new ground-breaking ideas. However, motivation is not the only thing a business needs to survive as it needs a team of experts to make sure it receives accurate handling. Without other information like markets, funding, and the future of your company, there is no point in even beginning. Even with ending a business, one must be smart because it can be extremely fatal to your funding or be a minor setback on a long road.

What I Learned at Techie Youth

I continued learning about the many ways you can make your business stand out through branding. With your unique product, you can create an even more outstanding brand name or logo! The most important part is relating to the topic while also making it your own. For example, if you hope to create a business that sells pet supplies, you can use a picture of a cat while also naming it something sensible similar to PetSmart! The name makes it clear and the logo only highlights the brand making them both great additions to a business!

What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 28)

I continued learning about the multiple aspects that come into play within the world of entrepreneurship including business, customers, markets, etc. I learned about how even with a thriving business, there might be a stunt after some time which is why it's important to always have a backup plan. You can't enter into a market blindly and expect to not encounter any issues. The only way to make sure that the stunt won't be fatal is by having a strong set of people there to lead you or a contingency plan. A backup is vital for the survival of many businesses!

They share helpful tips to aspiring entrepreneurs that hope to one day be as successful as them. However, not only is motivation important, but the way you convey your message to your market. Learning how to speak and draw in your audience in order for them to learn about your business and what makes it unique is vital. What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 25)

As I continue learning about owning a business and maintaining motivation, I watch videos created by famous entrepreneurs and how they made it to where they are today. They talk about the many ways innovation comes to you and how you can build something unique out of a small idea. You can create brilliant things in your mind every day; without knowing it, you make something world-changing. The important part is seeing potential in your creations and bringing them to life with technology or sharing this idea to get all hands on deck. If you believe in this project and think it can have a lasting impact, make sure to create your plans (of course), and bring it to life.

What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 22)

I began another day learning about entrepreneurship but specifically about how the success of a business is determined by its customers and market. Competition is a large and sometimes annoying part of owning a business but can also be beneficial in some cases. It can give you the chance to show unique aspects of your business and explain the value your specific company holds over any other competition. Show what makes you stand out from other places and use it to your advantage as a way to increase clientele and gain more popularity.

What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 21)

As I continue learning more about entrepreneurship and how to budget a successful business, I begin learning about the most essential part of a business, the customers. I reviewed the notes given about profit models and went on to learn about customers and the market. Without customers, a business wouldn't even have a chance to succeed which explains why determining your target market before opening a business is extremely important. You must already have a plan for who you're targeting. For example, video games are mainly targeted toward children and teenagers and they have advertised as such which explains why most game companies are extremely successful! Knowing your audience is very important.

What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 20)

I begin to realize that a large part of being an entrepreneur is knowing how to run a business. The only way for a business to succeed is to have a concrete model before beginning anything as a way to make sure the business will be profitable. I began learning about all the different types of profit models that are used in successful businesses and how you can use them as well. As a startup business, one of the most important things to note is how you can expand your influence on a budget. This is what I learned about today, how to maximize the startup money you have to turn your small business into a big, popular business.

What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 19)

As I dig further into the life of an entrepreneur, I learn more about the do's and don't's that can make or break this career path. One of the most important rules is that you should know what business plans are on a road to success or failure. Just because you believe in something that interests you doesn't mean it is destined to succeed and sometimes, one must accept that. It's better to fail early than waste time and money just to lose it all in the end, the results will be less drastic if you fail early. However, if you see that your invention is of interest to many and has a chance at making it out to the shelves, make sure to treat it and promote it as such.

I learned a lot about what it means to be an entrepreneur from exemplary figures who hope to inspire others to reach these same goals. The definition of an entrepreneur is different for everyone but what we do know for sure is that you must lead like a boss if you want to succeed!

What I Learned at Techie Youth (July 15)- Finances as a Remote Worker

As I continue my remote job, I begin to realize that my form of payment can't be upfront through a paycheck but instead through a different outlet. Thanks to the videos and articles I read, I now know more about receiving money from an online job. I found out how to open an account even at a young age and use said account to save money that I've earned working. Especially as a remote worker, you want to make sure you're all caught up in the world of online jobs as scams begin to show up everywhere. What I learned at Techie Youth(July 12)- Work Satisfaction and Productivity

Just like many jobs, you will most likely gain and lose motivation fairly quickly. Without motivation and a helpful work environment, the days will feel draining and everlasting. With these constant feelings, the business will inevitably fail. Though if you choose a job that you have a passion for and coworkers that works as a team, job satisfaction can increase dramatically. Even you can become a leader and lend a helping hand to those who aspire to follow in your footsteps as they enter a new job/work environment.

What I learned at Techie Youth(July 11)- Remote Work and Role Models

As I start a new remote program, I thought it would be a good time to review some tips when working remotely. Though it is not a remote job, the same rules apply in a professional work environment such as the one I'm beginning. I also read some articles about helpful mentorships and felt that many of them can help me connect to leaders that help hopeful workers reach their highest potential. However, we must differentiate role models and mentors as mentors are more likely to contact and help the people that look up to them. To end my day, I watched advice for 20-year-olds because although I'm not 20, there are valuable things I must also learn at my current age!

What I learned at Techie Youth- Maintaining Health While Balancing Success

In the midst of searching for success and happiness, many tend to let themselves and their health get out of hand. Many believe that as long as you have money in your pocket, there's no need to worry about health but it should be the opposite! This doesn't only refer to physical health but also mental health like straining yourself so much that you can no longer work. It's ok to put effort into things you care about but the more pressure you put on yourself, the worse the results will be. It's always good to have a break and prepare a healthy schedule that guarantees that your wellbeing is always put first over everything. It's a large part of keeping you and your work in check at all times.

What I learned at Techie Youth- Financial Security and Management

I was first introduced to the course with a section about the importance of financial security and being aware of the things you buy. For example, it would actually be more profitable to buy a high class car because it doesn't depreciate as much as a new regular car. I also earn about investments and what things you can buy that can become an actual investment like watches and jewelry. I also learned quite a bit about time management and how time is money and is extremely valuable. Every second that passes counts as a time to grow and learn. Techie Youth showed me just how worthy time is.

What I learned at Techie Youth- The Benefits of Working Remotely

I was first introduced to the course with a quick video about ways to E-Earn along with the many motivations that come with working remotely. Along with being able to live your own healthy lifestyle, you also make money while working from home! I learned the basics that make up a remote job and how you get paid as well. From Zelle to PayPal to Cryptocurrency there are now so many ways to get paid that it has not become an issue for online workers. However, before even going for these jobs, there are many prerequisites to complete like a cover letter, a resume, and (hopefully) an interview. Before being asked for an interview, your employer(s) want(s) to make sure they are hiring a great worker and may search your social media for any alarming factors which expresses the importance of having a basic account without any explicit content. You must also be aware of scams when looking for work as many jobs may seem too good to be true and when you do find your dream remote job, you'll be able to network with fellow coworkers to find opportunities for advancements. All of these aspects are what make up a remote job and the benefits of them.
