Cross Platform Development - I learned this at Techie Youth today

Today at Techie Youth I learned that we can develop apps using cross platforms from various companies. As an example, Microsoft offers a free program called Microsoft Xamarin, a tool that allows people to develop apps for Android and iOS on both Windows and MacOS. Another platform is Adobe PhoneGap which is an open source and free which once again is a good thing for developers. I also learned that you can code in HTML with CSS and JavaScript which is also good for those familiar with these languages. Last but not least, I learned about Google Flutter, which is Google's tool for developing cross-platform applications for Android Studio. Most of the code is written in Dart, a language similar to C/C++.

How to create an App Store app - I learned this at Techie Youth today!

Today, I learned how to create apps for App Store for Apple users. I learned how to create apps for iPhones and Apple Watches. To program an app, we will need to download XCode on a Mac to code apps. I also learned that to code on XCode, I need to use SwiftUI language. I also learned that in order to code apps for Apple Watch users, I will need to use the WatchOS and make sure the app will be user-friendly and easy to navigate through as the screen on the Apple Watch is small. Once I will be done programming the app, I will need to test it to make sure it is bug free and won't crash. To test the app, I will need to use emulators which is a simulated environment. Once I will be done testing the app, I can publish it to the App Store. To make sure my app won't be rejected, I will make sure it follows all of the Apple and App Store guidlines and then I will need to open an account on the Apple Developers Website which then will let me integrate other Apple given features such as Apple Pay and Game Center.
