It serves as a means of guidance. It consists of Organization,Prioritization,Goal setting,Communication,Planning, and Stress management. The important aspects to all these are coordination. One must set goal concretely in the financial affairs so as to greater impact their time. There are various sites and apps which aim to help people do these things such as Trello and My study life.
Today I learned about how to beware of scams, which can appear in just about every manner, like for example there may be links which offer you successful jobs in return for fees which claim to train. The next course work taught me the importance of networking, which can provide someone with great potential,I looked through multiple resources which can be used for the sake of networking such as LinkedIn and Quora.
Afterwords I began on the next prerequisite course which is titled “ improving your quality of life”.I started with the financial awareness and financial management material, which taught so far has taught me the Importance of planning again and begin aware of the terminology presented amongst salary managers.
Today, I learned about how to successfully work a remote job which consists of many factors. The first steps are onboarding, which is making sure you take the necessary steps to speak with the company and ensure you understand what is expected of you. Secondly, it is important to get an understanding of who you will be working with and what working with them will be like, to build a relationship. Building a clear line of communication between you and your supervisors and peers is important. This can mean being as concise as possible in emails and messages. The organization is a large part of this communication, i.e scheduling and answering in a timely manner. For virtual lines of communication, it is important to be prepared, people want to usually spend the least amount of time getting work done that could be finished through email. Avoid technical problems, and try your best to understand the modes of technology you're working with.
Today at Techie youth I learned how to master a job interview and get the result you're looking for. The steps to mastering your interview are simple you must first present a level of confidence combined with a level of skill. After you have fulfilled the necessary paperwork (cover letter, resume, recommendation letter if possible) you can start preparing for an interview by doing your research, looking for the important questions and answers such as "what is this company's greatest priority." These questions will not only help you gain a better understanding of what the companies looking for but also what you should best present yourself as. Without faking a reputation, preparing for an interview lets you know whether this is the right job for you. If you understand your value the employment process is a matter of picking and choosing. You have to present yourself as the best candidate for employers and clients alike, in this way you can also show companies what it is that attracted you to their company.
Today I gained a more thorough understanding of what the employment process should look like, and more specifically what employers are expecting. I read articles on the importance of public image for people who are looking to get employed because employers and hiring managers take note of a potential candidate's reputation. If you are the type of person who appears hateful and spiteful, that will not help you in the job-seeking process.
Today at Techie youth, I explored the many social media accounts of the organization and got to see some of the amazing work that has been done for homeless and at-risk youth. It inspired my feelings about the importance of kindness, many times if you help others that will help you just as the founder of this organization has done.
Lastly, I explored many of the different sites which offer remote jobs and help employers and job-seeking people to get a job. The only site that I knew of before was indeed and I haven't been able to find a job there, but I realized what I had missing, which was a cover letter.
Today at Techie youth, I was introduced to how everything works on this website. I gained a full understanding of the many options available for people like myself who might wish to work remotely, also I learned of the many benefits and cons of working remotely. I learned about the many different options for people who wish to work remotely. I learned a lot about how that process work, mainly how I could be paid if I was working remotely, whether that be with a personal business or just a company. Lastly, I learned how to write a cover letter, and resume. I learned about how important those two are for actually getting a job. I made a LinkedIn profile and learned how influential a profile on Linkedin can be for getting a job.
