Today I learned about the different types of
cryptocurrencies I can trade with. I also started creating my digital product for techie youth which is a TikTok filter supporting Techie Youth. It will be done tomorrow with the final logo floating about the persons head. I did this by downloading AR creator software on my laptop to craft the filter.
Today I learned how to start trading through crypto and through stocks as well and how the two differ in expenses. I learned that crypto can’t be used to pay for things up front while stocks sometimes can in the form of checks. I also learned what bubble bursting means in the crypto world.
Today (August 5th) I learned the different online sites that are brilliant for selling all types of art and the different costs that come along with each specific site. Some have packaging and shipping fees while others don’t. I also learned through these sites they may want a percentage out of the profit made from selling the art for their services apart from shipping. Otherwise, very useful when deciding to sell art.
Today I watched very intensive and specific instructions on how to use different programs like adobe illustrator software to create and design digital art. I then saw another intensive video speaking about how to upload these products online and how to label them etc. Because these softwares can be pretty complicated this was very helpful if I ever decided I wanted to start selling Art especially digital art not only online but on different social media platforms.
Today I watched many videos on starting to create digital products and how to sell them on different websites. Not only did I browsed many of these websites alongside websites that also sell laser-cut products that others have sold before using the adobe cut software. Today I also watched videos discussing the intro to electronics on a YouTube series and I learned the negative and positive charge of batteries in electronics.
Today I learned how to start a business legally. Most people could start it for free through the IRS but you must be careful with a couple of trademarking ideas and names/logos. I also learned the consequences if you don’t follow the United States laws for opening a business. From watching videos I learned that you must be serious with who you’re opening a business with in terms of partnerships and make sure they want the best for the company as well.
Today I learned about the ways we can identify if an idea for a potential business will fail or not before hand. This can save time and money because we would have therefore not invested a lot of time and money into much anyway. Another idea I’ve learned is how to sell your idea in the business world and to investors and how investors can tell while you’re selling your idea if it’ll be successful or not.
Today I learned how to be ok with failing in the first stage of idea making. I learned from watching videos that you should be able to take criticism if you want to be an entrepreneur and be able to build from that. Improve anything or completely pivot your ideas. Once you’re able to do that then you can successfully continue the business journey. I also learned the different business management branches there are with the example of Netflix.
Today I watched many videos on the quality of entrepreneurship and how to turn dreams into reality in terms of making income. I learned how to make many networks of income and home to get into the mindset of earning income daily from different sources. Passive income is one that I focused on today. No assignments came up on the new units I started. I also listened to many entrepreneurs themselves and how they created nothing into something. I listened to Mark Zuckerberg and how he started how and what he had to do in order to reach where he is.
Today I learned how to use the program software called Wordpress. I can use this software to create my own website with any theme and any posts for free. I learned the difference between Wordpress.org and Wordpress.com. I watched a step by step video which lists out the different types of websites I can create including the one I will start to make tomorrow promoting techieyouth.org and the variety of things it has to offer.
Today I learned different manufacturing programs and systems online that many entrepreneurs use when designing different products. Manufacturing and designing companies use the program solidworks and Autocad to create 2D and 3D products for example, planes, cars, etc. It comes in great use to design these prototypes online using a computer instead of for example drawing the designs out. I learned the basics of these two programs today and I’m almost complete in the unit.
Today I started the intro to 3D printing in the Craft section. I started learning the basics of the website when designing the different shapes wanted for different products. I watched around 10 videos so far, where I learned the basics of the Numpad and how to use it to shift and move shapes to scale in the system plane. Ultimately, if I were to have a 3D printer this would be useful information when the the time comes to sell these creations as products on the Shopify website which I also previewed today in earlier hours.
Today I learned about different social media platforms and how to utilize them. I also learned how to succeed on them as well in terms of gaining popularity in follower counts. I watched this video of one kid who created many profiles and theme pages and how to was able to gain a profit from these follower pages giving him a total income of one million dollars just from having social media accounts. I took this information to improve my social media accounts by creating some sort of theme to attract more people of certain interests.
Today I improved my typing speed on a website. I also learned different types of online jobs and it’s demand especially the one in most demand as of right now due to COVID, which is Virtual Assistant. How much more difficult it is to get this job nowadays since more people want it, it’s qualifications became more strict and significant in the hiring process.

Today I learned stress management and how to connect with people and budget traveling and living expenses.
Today I learned how to manage my time and prioritize my goals in order to benefit me and my success in the end. I videos giving tips on how to live a healthy life that advantages my well being while also being productive.
today I learned how to balance life with work both remotely and in person. I also learned the value of setting priorities and also how to avoid many scams when looking for jobs.
Today I learned new resources for looking for online jobs. I also learned exactly what they're looking for in applicants and during different types of interviews online and in person. I also learned how to answer specific questions during these interviews and ways to boost my chance of getting chosen.
I learned how to present myself online through different sites and apps liked LinkedIn, and through my resume and cover letter. I also learned the significant factors that go into presenting myself, the benefits, and who I can connected with that'll benefit each other's future. I did this by creating my LinkedIn Profile.
Today I started learning how to open different apps and accounts that can ultimately help me getting paid and connected with people who work different careers similar to my interests. I also learned the benefits of working remotely. For example, having a flexible schedule and being comfortable. As well as the drawbacks of it which include, lack of connection and interactions with people in your workforce.
