What I learn today!

Today I learned about Java. I learned about loops and conditional statements. Loops are a cope that repeats a statement. For example, if you are coding and you want the word Boy to repeat 5 times, you will usually create a loop for that word. Conditional statements are true and false statements. It uses IF to specify a block of code to be executed if a specified condition is true and else to specify a block of code to be executed if the same condition is false. I also learned about List which is when you basically put a list into your own coding.

How to recruit.

Today I learn about the fundamentals of being a recruiter. I learn that being a recruiter means finding talents for one's company and there are ways in which that can be done. One thing that we must look at is the resume, judging whether or not a candidate will be successful at the company, you have to consider many factors. When scanning a resume we should look for important details such as; work experience, education, knowledge, skills, etc. Another thing that I learned about is Cover letters. It's important because cover letters not only inform the employer about the applicant's skills and writing fluency, but it also showcases the candidates' ability to follow directions and write a cohesive and persuasive letter. Some others are identity, phone interview, etc. So recruiting isn't that ad of a job but at the same time, I don't think I could do that. But I'm glad I'm learning such important things from techie youth.

Difference between JavaScript & Java

Today I learned about Java-Script. JavaScript is used on the front-end of websites; the syntax is based on Java which is the most-common syntax used for programming web development. Once you learn JavaScript, learning other Java-based languages will seem very similar, and thus be relatively easy. During Java-Script learning I learned the fundamentals of it, which I have somewhat of an idea of. I also learned to play a game that contains Javascript. I even learned the difference between JavaScript and Java is one of the most sought-after programming languages in terms of career opportunities; average salary rates for Java developers are among the highest in the industry. Java is most often used on very large technology projects, many banks use Java internally; for smaller-scale projects other languages are easier and tend to be better suited to support rapid development.

All I learn about music.

Today I learned about different elements in music. Such as chords, melodies, and how they contribute to the flow of the music. I also learned about melodies and how chords contribute to the melodies. I even learn to build a beat from a tutorial video that I watched. I learned that chords are used to create tension in a piece of music, adding excitement and anticipation. And melodies are used to give music a soul. I learned about music sites such as pandora etc. I even learn that I can sell beats if I want to. So I might just make that a side hustle for me. Maybe Techie Youth would buy it. I am looking forward to learning more about music at techie youth. Also, this is for yesterday.

Binary Numbers

I learned about Binary at Techie Youth. Binary numbers are numbers that are usually used in computers. These numbers contain 2 numbers which are 0 and 1. The further you go to the left the more the number significance increases, while the more you go to the right, the more it decreases. I've even learned that Arithmetic in binary is much like arithmetic in other numeral systems. In addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division can be performed on binary numerals. Also to covert a binary from a base-10 integer to its base-2 (binary) equivalent, the number is divided by two. This is what I learned so far.

Websites pros and cons, Sale funnels and wearables.

Today I learned about the pro and cons of building and selling on my own website. Selling in existing marketplaces such as eBay and Etsy is usually the easiest starting option, especially when you have limited starting resources and only a small quantity of products. Some pros I learn from selling in a marketplace are: Little to no start-up costs an instant audience of potential customers, Paying for ads or visibility is often unnecessary no technological effort or responsibility. I learned that sales funnels are a single-purpose website that is designed to drive sales to a specific product, plus upsell add-on products which can be very good if you want to start selling your products. I then went on to learn about wearables which are basically wearing small lights on your clothing.

Robotic Products and Engeneering

I learned that robotic products refer to functional objects that can be interacted with physically and are powered by custom electronics and/or a programmable microcontroller. I also learned about cathode and anode which is completely different from what I learned. I learned that when it comes to electrical engineering cathode is the negative and anode is positive which in chemistry it's the complete opposite. I also learned about receptors and how to tell the difference based on shades that are on that receptor. Another thing I learned is that Most microcontrollers require a crystal oscillator Xtal as an external component; the type of xtal needs to match the speed of the microcontroller processor.

What I learned about Digital Arts

I've learned a few things about digital arts today. I learned that 3D printing has fixed per-unit costs, so to make a profit you will need to be able to sell whatever objects that you make for more than your costs. I've also learned about the consideration of what I had to take in such as; The least-expensive things to print are one color, one piece, small and plastic. These are also usually the quickest to print out and customizing products for an additional fee can be a profitable upsell. I even learned how to create a selling profile for eBay and other sites.

Information about Reits that I learned.

Today at Techie Youth I learned that REITs, or Real Estate Investment Trusts, are trusts whose investors can invest by buying shares of the company's portfolio. I also learned that equity REITs are publicly traded, they can be purchased similarly to stock on stock exchanges. REITs are interesting for investors as they provide a less hands-on investment experience for those interested in purchasing real estate. The reason for this is that by investing in a REIT, you are investing in a company that manages and purchases real estate. You, in turn, as an investor will be paid through dividends. I also learned that if you invest in Reits, you are more of a real estate investor which is something I would be willing to try. Another important thing I learned is that Reits pays more than 90% of dividends to their investors.

More about trading and scams

I learned that When you trade commodities, it is critical to not only be careful of the risks of investment losses but also of various types of common fraud. I also learned that

knowing and analyzing prior bubbles in the commodity market can help you evaluate and better understand the current commodity market. I'm learning many more things such as trading strategies etc.

Cryptocurrencies

I learned about Cryptocurrencies today at Techie Youth. I learned about the risk of investing in online currencies and the pros of investing in online currencies. I learned about the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies such as how Bitcoin works and how it's traded. So far I've learned some other small things but what really stands out to be is the bold text that saids. " Nver invest more money than youre ready to lose". I feel like this could be the lesson I go by when investing into the stock market.

Cardinality and Modality.

Today at Techie Youth I learned about cardinality. Cardinality is the relationship between rows in a database. An example of this is; the cardholder and the card itself. The only possibility between Cardinality is 1 →many. An individual can own as many cards as they wished and vice versa one card can be connected to multiple individuals but an individual can't own many cards. Another possibility is 1 → 1. This is where a cardholder owns 1 card same for vice versa, one card is linked to 1 person. I also learned another interesting topic which is modality. This tells us tells about the minimum number of row associations in a table There are also different types such as nullable and non-nullable. Nullable columns accept an empty field while the non-nullable column doesn’t accept null values.

Keys in web development and other important stuff.

Today at techie youth I learned about keys such as superkey, foreign key, primary key, and candidate keys. Superkeys are keys used to enforce uniqueness and the only difference between superkeys and candidate keys is that candidate key uses fewer columns to enforce uniqueness. We can have many candidate keys but in doing so we must have a primary key. That primary key will be the main key and all the other candidate keys will be known as alternate keys. And finally foreign key; the foreign key is used to make connections with the primary key which is how we reference between tables but the two most important keys are primary and foreign keys. I even learned about surrogate keys and natural keys. Surrogate keys are random numbers within a database while natural keys are numbers that are already within the database. Another category key I learned about is the simple key which is a one-call key. I learned about atomic values which basically means it stores one thing. So everything that we store in our database is actually one thing.

More things about web development.

Today I learned about the front guide of a web developer, I learned a lot of stuff, like getting a lot of sleep, I control my phone, and not the other way around, and never settling for enough. This really changes my aspects views on work ethic. I also learned some other things such as the basics of G.I.T and the G.I.T hub even some other things I find complicated such as svn basic such as tagging and branching.

Google Analytics, Cross Platforms and other interesting stuff.

Today I learned about the basics and fundamentals of google analytics. I learned about screens and what can block someone from spending money on their apps. And I even learned about Xamarin and how I can create apps whether it be for android or IOS. Some other interesting things I learned were how to find jobs as a mobile developer and how much a mobile developer earns. So far I'm having a blast learning all of this. I'm still learning more about them just trying to make sure I understand all aspects of each topic fully.

Things I learned about WordPress at Techie Youth

Today I learned about WordPress. It's a site used to create/public websites. I learned how to navigate my way through such as creating a blog post, changing themes, etc. I even watched a 2-hour video of a guy creating his website using WordPress, he showed me how to use plugins and other useful resources. So far it's not bad at all.
