Today I learned about the importance of having someone to look up to and the different ways to pick out role models that inspire and motivate me. I learned the proper way to reach out to mentors and how it is important and required to have already started your path that you want your mentor to assist you with. Picking and choosing role models are very important and you should be very picky because it is the person you look up to and so if you identify that person as your role model then they should follow or have similar goals/dreams along with having morals and ethics that follow within you. Structured Query Language (SQL) is the interface language that is used to interact with most relational databases, while non-relational databases are referred to as NoSQL. I learned the general principles of SQL and general facts about the history of sequel. There are many little differences and range of uses for SQl/No SQL. The most common relational databases are MySQL, Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, IBM Db2 and Postgres.
The NoSQL sector is far broader with database options; the two that have the strongest market share are MongoDB and Couchbase.

Subversion (SVN) and GIT are the two version control programs that are the most popular (the ones I learned) and dominate the market and one or the other is used in nearly every website project that utilizes file versioning. I learned how to set up the Tortoise SVN client along with how to manage conflicts in SVN. Just like SVN, I learned how to use GIT and its important components.
