One of the biggest takeaways was the ability to remain calm and control your speech when faced with a difficult situation. When we feel extremely stressed, we are inclined to express uncontrollable emotions. However, taking and deep breath and gathering your thoughts can aid you in managing stress in that moment and beyond. We have the ability to control our response to these stressful instances.

Consistently hydrating was also emphasized, as this is something many people take for granted. Another difficult task for many individuals today is taking some time away from digital devices and social media. According to the article, time away from screens improves mental health, sleep, and decreases the chance of physical ailments. Trying to buy organic, whole foods whenever possible was another option as well. If you are really dedicated to improving your health, you could also hire a nutritionist.
