Hey I’ve been very sick this past week & might have COVID for the 3rd time while pregnant even though I’m fully vaccinated so I will never understand the purpose if I always feel the same but overall during my last week of Techie Youth I tried my best to get the job done & stay determined to finish my only work even with a fever. I learned about Online Tutoring which is a person who specialized in helping people in a certain subject but getting done online. It’s very rare to find a tutor online for free but the more you pay for the help the better knowledge you’ll receive. I also learned about creating websites which you can do for free or even pay small fees to make it a little better. You can create your own website to expand your business and get your creative ideas out there if you would like. I also learned about how Timbaland makes me beats and he feels like if he can’t verbally speak to you he’ll let his music do the talking for him which I find so creative. He did major beats for people like Jay-Z & Missy Elliott. I also learned about what a Domain name is and what it does. A domain name is a string that identifies a realm of administrative autonomy, authority or control within the Internet. Domain names are used in various networking contexts and for application-specific naming and addressing purposes. I also learned about Fundraising and how it can help a business. Fundraising is seeking financial support for a charity, cause, or other enterprise. Not only does fundraisers raise charity but they’re also fun to engage and network at. I also learned about Data Entry which is the process of transcribing information into an electronic medium such as a computer or other electronic device. It can either be performed manually or automatically by using a machine or computer. Lastly I learned about how you can make $250 worldwide just by listening to music & it’s FREE! You can also make money online by taking surveys & similar easy Task. Overall I know this because my sister does this, she gets so much free items that’s essential to her house also for my nieces and nephews. I would love to do some on my free time and see how much money I can earn or free products I can receive.
To finish off what I learned this week I just want to state how thankful I am for Techie youth about how much knowledge I learned over the past 6 weeks. All the information I learned this summer I can pass it on to people who can really use the information & tell them how much money they can be making if they take this information & actually use it becomes I know I will be & not only do I get to get paid by the help of SYEP & Techie Youth I also get paid to LEARN ABOUT HOW TO GET PAID!!! It’s a win win situation for me 😄 Thank you so much!!!
Today I learned about Copy writers, the different types and what they do. Overall a copy writer is a person who writes the text of advertisements or publicity material such as website copywriters & social media copywriters. People should go to a copy writer when they don’t want their work to be plagiarized or stolen.
Yesterday I learned about app development & how much coding it requires just to make a app on a android. Coding is very confusing but with lots of practice you can create your own unique app. Developing a app will let you know if there is any errors in the code & would give you suggestions on how to fix it with a different code. You also have to code to get the logo for your app including the lighting and details.
Today I learned about the different social medias like Facebook, Snapchat, Tiktok, Instagram & others. Each section was showing me about how each social media app works & how people connect on them. All these apps are free & have a mega large following on all of them. I used to have social media until I realized how much of my time it was taking up. I felt brainwashed. I also feel like if you can spend hours on a app that doesn’t pay you, you might as well spend your time doing something that actually pays you. All humans do is make these sites richer instead of creating their own.
Today I learned about what a analyst is & the many types there can be such as a business or data Analyst. A analyst is a person whose job is to study or examine something in an organized way, so a business analyst would be someone who’s good at analyzing a business while a data analyst would be someone who’s good at studying data. I believe both jobs are hard because in each area of both job titles the information tends to be all over the place sometimes. The information a analyst finds out today may not be the same information they find out tomorrow which can be challenging.
Today I learned how you can edit photos like a pro using Adobe and other apps that associate with Apple. Your going to get the best quality editing on a computer rather than your phone because the image is way bigger and it’s easier to point out pieces of the photo you want to fix. I also learned that you can purchase instagram likes and followers to get more of the crowd coming to your page. The more you interact with your social media the more people will continue to stay engaged with your page.
Yesterday I learned about buying & selling niche website & the different profits each subject can make. These guys in the YouTube video was explaining how they bought websites for 10K as an investment because it makes 1000+ a month with a lot of different good content they wrote on the website compared to a website they bought for 500 & it only made $15 in 2 months so they considered it a fail but also felt if they continue to add more content on the page it can bring more money in & they were also offering to sell it to the public if we chose to buy. Today I learned about monetizing your very own website which is getting paid for clicks views & ads that’s on your website. You should wait until you get approved or have over 100 followers to monetize your website so you can make revenue off your website the more content the more followers the more money you can make. You should promote your website everywhere so you can get people more engaged & wanting people to invite others & come back their selves to better help your profit.
Today I learned about all the different ways and sites you can sell and share your art online. Some sites I came across today were Etsy which I'm familiar with, Ello, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, ArtStation and so on. If I was an artist I would recommend using majority of these sites to get my art work out there and noticed. The 10 steps to selling art online include: 1) Decide what medium of art to sell, 2) Decide to sell originals or reproductions, 3) choose a printer, 4) Build a brand as an artist, 5) set prices for your art, 6) setup your online prices, 7) Apply for exhibitions, pop-ups and events, 8) work with galleries, 9) Market your art, 10) Package your art. All these steps should start your art business in the right direction.
Today I learned about the 6 different types of subscription business models that are perfect for generating recurring monthly income.the business model I felt the most engaged with was the Mastermind business model. This was the most expensive business model I heard & it was so interesting because one person would be spending 65k or more a year due to all the information they offer such as changing the position your in now to then leading you to a more successful bank account. I like this one the most also because if this was my business even if I only had 1 person attending my subscription website a year I’ll still be making 65K a year better than what I’m doing today.
Today I learned how to make a e-book, publish & sale it online. An E-Book stands for a electronic book which is an electronic version of a printed book that can be read on a computer or handheld device designed specifically for this purpose. You can sale your E-book online for free on multiple websites such ass Amazon kindle, the create space, Apple iBook & other websites like Rakuten KWL.
Today I learned that Etsy is a website for all different types of Vendors who can sell they products online. I have a Etsy account but didn't really look too much into it because it was kind of confusing. I believe Etsy is similar to Amazon because vendors are allowed to make profit with their business. I Also learned today what a sales funnel is and how it works. A sales funnel, also called a purchase funnel, is the visual representation of the customer journey, depicting the sales process from awareness to action. so for example its like when I go to buy a product I check everything out about it before I make my final decision on if I want to buy it or not.
Today I learned about wearable tech which I have never really paid any attention to in real life. I never even knew you can wear clothes with LED lights. Most of the wearable tech I seen on these websites we're very fashionable and creative. I Also learned about how you should calculate the price you should profit your products off of such as if you spend $5 dollars on the materials to make a shirt with a logo on it then maybe you should sell it for $10 dollars and boom you made 50% of your money back which you can continue to keep buying materials and making more products so you can profit off of.
Today I learned more about adobe, things like duplicating one piece of art into multiple and making it one image. I also learned about another app that's new to me called GIMP. To me GIMP is similar to the Adobe app but I believe they're both different in they own unique way. I learned how to download & customize the GIMP theme which could be the design that I use. I also learned how to open a image on GIMP which is located at the top where you click files. Overall I think the GIMP App is pretty awesome and easy to use, I'm more use to Adobe which I find more difficult than GIMP. It sounds crazy but Adobe has more challenging features than GIMP.
Today I learned about not throwing old electronics away because they can be useful in making more better & moderate electronics. For example if you have an old DVD player one of the parts you can salvage it for is the circuit battery & many more. Today I also learned about the illustrator app Adobe, how to you use it & make more creative art online. I’m very familiar with adobe because I obtained my graphic design certification along with my 3D animation certification when I was just 17 years old in my trade school. Adobe was one of the apps we used everyday to master our ideas & creativity.
Today I learned about what digital goods are and how and how beneficial they can be. some products I learned about were E-Good or E-Service which is services which make use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). The three main components of e-services are: service provider; service receiver; and. the channels of service delivery.
I Also wrote a summary about my Business proposal which is my future daycare Called The Sunflowers daycare and all the few things I would do with it..
today I learned the difference between how the stock market works compared to forex and other apps like it. Forex focus mainly on all currency's while the stock market only focuses on the US Currency. To me these markets are a gamble, you can win lots of money or you can either lose lots of money & I believe the easiest way to lose lots of money is by not paying attention to the market you can just deposit 100 dollars and then go to sleep. you should be lasered focus with your eyes on the prize.
Today I learned about what 3D is. I seen a lot of cool 3D images in the websites I looked over today. 3D stands for Three-dimensional space. I also learned that there is a machine that can print 3D Objects which is very expensive be also awesome at the same time. I would love to see 3D Art in person or attend a 3D museum to explore the different creations of 3D.
Today I learned a lot about the stock market such as how it operates, what time and days the market is open, how to put money in the stocks market, when it's good to take or put money on a certain stock, how stocks accumulates and fluctuates.
Today I learned about entrepreneurship & everything I need to know before renting a office. Entrepreneurship is the activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit. I hope to become a entrepreneur one day by opening my own Daycare Along with my own Writing studio for my community.
Today I learned how to not let the negativity effect me in life. How to keep my spirits up & stay happy. Don't let things get to me easily, always keep my cool and my head above water. If I ever feel like I'm about to panic take a breather or some time to myself even if its not just a few minutes. I also learned how to handle stress management in different ways such as thinking to myself, drinking water, and paying attention to my needs.
I learned about everything that needs to be in a cover letter & how to make it a good one, especially using the words “you” instead of “I”. I also learned how there’s so much scams going on on the internet. It’s not safe anybody can be next. To avoid ways of getting scammed is don't give nobody your personal information or access to your devices such as phones or computers, Also don't just be taking random quizzes anywhere even on sites you use daily.
I Learned about all the different kinds of jobs working remotely on top of what they make and the flexibility. I also learned about what trading stocks is and how it works. Lastly I Learned about the different online companies that refer me to other jobs.
I learned today that some people literally die from their jobs. Do what you love, do what has a flexibility. You got to love what you do in order to keep going everyday. Being a boss takes courage and ownership. I hope to be a boss one day and the one question I ask myself everyday is do you see yourself working for other for the rest of your life or do you see yourself with your own company/business?
