Today at Techie Youth I started the Web Development elective course and learned many new things. Starting off the course I learned front end web developer guide and the 6 stages which were, computer science, preparation, HTML and CSS, Git, Github, Command Line, Java script, NodeJS, Job Ready, and solify explore. You wont be ready for one unless you understand the others so thoroughly study them. There are also some pros and cons for web developing which are it Pays up to 6 figures starting salary but not always and its For people who enjoy being on the cpu all day this isn’t the job for you if you cant spend hours looking at the screen. After all of that I learned to get started on creating websites. The main fundamentals are install Microsoft Visual Studio Code, learning the basics of HTML and HTML with CSS, looking at the CSS models and understanding the layouts, and how to build a well formed HTML page.
Today at Techie Youth I learned about selling artistic job lists and where to sell your art. I also learned about art agents. If you've realized that you can't do it alone or you feel like the growth of your art business has stopped an art agent is there to help. An art agent is any expert who represents, markets, and sells an artist's creations. One art job one can consider is a Fine Artist. Original works of art are produced by fine artists. Any media, including paint, wood, metal, or textiles, may be used for this. Another job can be an Ary gallery curator. Curators of art galleries are in charge of the pieces of art that they either own or have on loan. If you wanna help other people become great artists you can consider being an art teacher. You can teach at an elementary school or any level of education. There are thousands of websites people can sell there art. These include, Etsy, Red bubble, Zazzle, big cartel, and many more.
Today at Techie Youth I learned how to make money as an artist and how to sell your art. One way you can sell your artwork is through instagram. Although there are some important factors you kist consider to actually sell them like having quality photos, using appropriate hashtags, reply to comments, and many more. Its not just about selling the art its about appealing to other people. You need to have a good name and brand, have good art, and evoke emotion with your art. Another important factor in starting your business is to have some money saved up and be very consistent on your social medias like instagram, facebook, and twitter. You don’t have to have all of these platforms just choose one and make it your main focus. I also learned how to use different social medias and the amazing things you can do with them. I also got some tips on how to increase instagram followers; some important rules are, expose them to your content, engage with highly specifics people, and content, be relatable and honest, be engaging, and finally add relevant keywords ro attract followers on autopilot.
Today at Techie Youth I learned there are many opportunities to get paid. Many websites are offering money for your reviews. For example, slicethepie is the largest paid review site on the internet. You earn easy money for every review you leave. Another website is focus group; you can earn money from telling your opinion and experiences on everyday products you use! Another one is consumer opinion services where clients can hire you to find particular types of people to test different products and concepts varying by what it is they're researching. I also learned about what a public relations agency does PR agencies, as opposed to advertising firms, promote businesses or people through media attention. I also learned about press release distribution. What it is and the mistakes to avoid. It involves sending your press release out to journalists, publishers, and other members of the press. Some mistakes can be making it too long or target the wrong audience or your stories not newsworthy enough. I also learned how to write w proper press release.
Today at techie youth I learned how to write a fundraising letter and learned the basics such as what is a fundraising appeal, where does a fundraising appeal appear on your crowdfunding campaign, and who your are talking to. Another thing was to use upwork to find the best fundraising consultants. I also learned the best way to build authentic donor relationships, how to find major donors, and fundraising incentives that activate supporters, I also learned how to write an elevator pitch.
Today at Techie Youth I continued the writing elective and learned many new things. Such as, an SEO’s salary which is $47,798, some work from home customer service jobs; these jobs include, remote call center agent, remote customer service, etc… some other tips were customer support through email which were personalizing your email interactions, always say “thank you”, use canned replies automation, and many more. Another thing was an customer service representatives salary which was $41,000.
Today at Techie youth I learned what a blog is: a section of the website as a whole and is composed of a number of articles, what copyrighting is and the day in the life of a copyrighter, tips for blogging, a bloggers summary which is about $81,000, how to earn money when blogging, and the largest blogging sight which is the Huffington post earning $2.3 million dollars a month
Today at techie youth I started the writing elective. I learned what the salary of a magazine writer was which is about $71,000, how to get published, the differences between magazines, journal’s , and newspapers, how to write an effective article, and some tips for writing a good journal. Another significant tip I learned was keep your writing short and brief rather then long and ongoing that way you encourage the reader then tire them out
Today at techie youth I was doing the mobile development elective and went in to how to create the apps. First off, for Apple and Android it is completely different because Apple uses Xcode and Android uses Java. In a way they’re both similar though. Both have similar rules that are very specific. For example, Never develop apps with inappropriate content or User-Generated Content (UGC) should be created under guidelines. Obviously there are many more. You have to also make you’re app work that way it is compatible with a wearable device like a smartwatch. There are also various websites you can hire app developers on.
Today at techie youth I finished the music production course and made my very own beat in the end! It was very fun and and I really enjoyed it. I started the mobile app development class and it was very intriguing. First of all the developers make a ton of money. However this isn’t the case for all countries. In india the average salary is around $4000 dollars while in the US its $100000. I also learned that there are different scripts involved in app developing like with apple and android.
Today at Techie Youth I continued the music production elections which I learned many things. Like 5 DAW Hacks for Film Scoring. We also got a step by step Video on How to Optimize Your Computer for Music Production; how your audio settings must look like, what to remove, etc… I also learned about a DAW software called soundbridge and how to use it. Its great to use since its free and easy. Another very helpful thing was how to earn money as a musician. There are many options you can do like sell beats, teach music classes, playing at gigs, and earn streaming royalties. I also learned about How Digital Music Distribution works
Today at techie youth I started a new elective; music production. I enjoy music in general and like producers like Dr. dre so I thought why not give it a shot. In my time of doing it I learned many new things such as beat making and all the different software you can use to make beats like GarageBand. I was familiar with garage band in the past but I didn’t realize how much you can do with it. I also learned how to get started in film composing and 10 things about music theory that every producer needs to know. I also learned what a digital audio workstation. Aka DAW. Was
Today at Techie Youth I learned How be he a strong leader, How to fire and terminate someone. Some of the things Eric said was very helpful, like to escort someone to bring their things because they can mess something up is one thing I don’t think about. In movies when you see someone getting fired they would get sent to their office to pack their things up so that’s why something like this didn’t even come across my mind. How to manage staff like better able to decide on staffing for hiring, promotions, warnings, and terminations. I also did an assignment today which involved making an executive summary which was the first time I’ve ever done something like this. It was very fun and interesting to do. I learned a lot of stuff during this process.

Today I learned the life of different entrepreneurs and how their lives are. I also learned how failing quickly isn’t necessarily a bad thing and you learn quicker that way and can start over again because you spent a little time and money on it. You also have a to set realistic goals and expectations to not get your hopes up.
Today I learned all about entrepreneurship. Such as the skills needed and good tips to become a millionaire. I also went in reddit to make predictions about various stocks.
Today I learned all about options trading and the many ways you can make money with it. I also watched a very helpful and long video from chris butler which he taught options through a variety of illustrations, both graphical and written, and explanations that are as simple he also gave a summary of the key options trading principles.
